Just wanted to stop by and say "thanks" for the comment you left at my blog.
It is a difficult topic to cover sometimes, but I can't imagine not being the one to have "The Talk" with my son. I don't think it would be right of me as a father to abdicate that to the schools.
You're absolutely right about todays view of sex being so skewered, and not just porn. Anymore, it would seem that the two are so intertwined by what our society thinks about the subject. It makes it difficult to not have to address the whole porn issue at a time when you might not think it's appropriate.
My thoughts on prudish behavior are more a comment on what our culture deems to be prudish. I consider it to be a reasonable amount of self-control. Something else our society seems to be lacking in.
Like you said, I could go on, but I don't think that's necessary. I'm glad to see that there are others out there that share some of my views.
I hope to hear from you again sometime. I really did enjoy reading your comment. And I like what I've seen of your blog too. I'll probably add you to my favorites.
